PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI BIMBINGAN KONSELING BERBASIS WEB

Senior High School 1 V Koto Timur is one of the public schools located in Padang
Pariaman Regency. In solving student problems, schools have guidance and counseling
teachers who are responsible for providing services to students, whether students have
problems or commit violations. But in fact, the existing counseling guidance has not been
properly recorded related to the guidance and violations committed by students. With the
development of a counseling guidance information system, it is hoped that it can be a
solution to these problems in order to monitor guidance or violations committed by
students. This study aims to develop a counseling guidance information system that is able
to mediate interactions between teachers and students as well as monitoring student
progress by their parents. The counseling guidance system was developed using the
CodeIgniter 3 framework that applies the MVC (Model-View-Controller) concept,
meanwhile, in data management, the counseling guidance information system utilizes the
PHP programming language, MySQL database and Apache web server. Based on the
research that has been done, it can be concluded that this counseling guidance information
system can be an intermediary for interaction between teachers and students, especially at
SMA N 1 V Koto Timur, with an activity log that stores counseling guidance data between
teachers, BK teachers, homeroom teachers and students. . In addition, parents can also
monitor developments related to violations, guidance, and achievements of their children at
school.
