Manajemen Pengadaan Material Pada Proyek Konstruksi Bangunan Gedung (Studi Kasus : Pembangunan Workshop Dengan Struktur Utama Rangka Baja Di Kota Padang)

ABSTRACT

Construction materials are all materials that will be used for the implementation of activities to build a building. Good material control according to time and cost as well as available manpower can improve project quality while reducing construction costs. In the Construction of a Workshop with a Steel Frame Main Structure in Padang, what is related to material procurement management in this project is the large volume of steel frame work that requires a fabrication process by subcontractors outside the project site. The procurement process that does not take into account the lead time required for steel fabrication and transportation from the workshop to the project site causes delays. Therefore, material procurement management is needed to minimize material procurement problems, so that it can ensure the continuity of continuous work, the availability and quality of materials are maintained, as well as the regular storage of materials. This research was conducted by surveying directly to the field by interviewing parties related to project development. Another way to do this is in the form of secondary data, starting from looking for a budget plan (RAB), determine the work implementation schedule (Time Schedule), and analyze the unit price of work (AHSP). Then perform data processing that aims to identify the material requirements of each work item and identify and classify material requirements for all work items. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it is found that by carrying out material management, material needs can be known so that materials that require lead times can be scheduled starting from ordering. transportation prefabrication, to the work process. From the results of material procurement management in the steel frame workshop building, the results of the project work were completed within 180 working days, while by not taking into account material management. the results of the work process were late until finished 240 days.
