Evaluasi Saluran Drainase Pada Perumahan Batang Kabung Asri Kota Padang Menggunakan EPA SWMM 5.1

ABSTRAK



The city of Padang is one of the cities that has flood problems in many places that are experiencing drainage problems, such as in the Batang Kabung beautiful complex area. Based on data from January 08, 2021, indications of existing problems are problems inplanning drainage channels, if it rains continuously, the housing area for the Kabungstems is beautiful. During high rainfall, the drainage channel often overflows due to notbeing able to accommodate the discharge that occurs, and eventually causes floodingaround the area.

Evaluation of data on the capacity of the drainage channel for the Batang Kabung Asri housing estate, Padang City, which consists of several stages of analysis. First, supporting data is needed that can assist the analysis, such as hydrological data (rainfall) and physical land data such as topographic maps covering water catchment areas. Then the data collection of the dimensions of the drainage channel in the field (Existing). After the data is collected, the next step is data processing
Then the results of this study using the "EPA Storm Water" program Management Model version 5.1 The data needed in this modeling are subcatchment, rain intensity, length and dimensions of drainage. The simulation results show that 9 out of 10 junctions are flooded with rainfall intensity for a five-year return period. This indicates that the drainage is not able to drain the runoff discharge. The consequence is drainage which can now be cleaned.
