Abstract
Parking is one element of facilities that cannot be separated of the road transport system as a whole. Parking is problems that are often encountered in urban transportation systems both in cities and towns large as well as in developing cities. Parking problem too This is something that some hospitals cannot handle. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of parking and parking management. The research was conducted by means of a direct enumeration survey at the location of the DR. M. Ali Hanafiah SM Batusangkar. From the results of the analysis conducted in the parking area of the DR. M. Ali Hanafiah SM Batusangkar (off street parking), parking accumulation was obtained for 4 days in 30 minute intervals, the highest number of vehicles on Thursday was 85 vehicles, therefore the demand for parking space needs could not be met because of the available parking space capacity. in the parking lot of DR. M. Ali Hanafiah SM Batusangkar 80 SRP, vehicle parking duration on Saturday is 126 minutes/unit, Sunday 149 minutes/unit, Monday 154 minutes/unit, and Thursday 157 minutes/unit, with an average duration of 146 minutes/unit, parking turnover rate on Saturday is 1.46 rounds, Sunday 0.85 rounds, Mondays 2.41 rounds, Thursdays 3.04 rounds. With an average of 1.94 rounds, the capacity of parking spaces on Saturday is 0.09 units, Sunday is 0.05 units, Monday is 0.13 units, and Thursdays is 0.15 units, the highest maximum parking index occurs on Thursday 119 %> 100% then the capacity owned by the area Hospital parking DR. M. Ali Hanafiah SM Batusangkar is not able to accommodate the number of vehicles at the time of maximum parking accumulation. because of the capacity of the available parking space in the parking lot of DR. M. Ali Hanafiah SM Batusangkar 80 SRP So it is necessary to add to meet the parking demand at peak hours or at the time of maximum parking accumulation in accordance with the Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Parking Facilities with 180 beds, the number of SRP required is 118 SRP. Of the 100 respondents who filled out the questionnaire, an average of 15 questions regarding comfort, the respondents stated that the comfort aspect of the respondents mostly chose enough, from the security aspect at DR Hospital. M. Ali Hanafiah SM Batusangkar the majority of respondents chose enough, and supported by the results of operational aspects, most respondents chose enough. With the problem of parking on the shoulder of the road, the hospital should provide signs for a ban on parking on the shoulder of the road so that visitors no longer park their vehicles on the shoulder of the road and the parking attendant directs hospital visitors to park their vehicles in an empty rear parking area, the hospital makes parking lots so that no visitors park in the wrong place and makes signs for entering and exiting vehicles, the hospital requires directions to the parking lot to make it easier for visitors to get to the parking lot.
