Analisis Pengaruh Beban Berlebih (Overload) Terhadap Pengurangan Umur Rencana Perkerasan Jalan (Studi Kasus : Ruas Jalan Anmpang - Bypass)
ABSTRACT
The Ampang road section is an Arterial or Collector road class III B with type 4 undivided lanes. This road was used as an evacuation route in 2012 and has become one of the most traversed routes, ranging from private vehicles public transportation to heavy vehicles such as trucks carrying goods with loads exceeding the permitted capacity. This can cause frequent problems such as road damage and reduced road life. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of traffic loads that exceed the permitted capacity on road conditions which include the remaining life of the pavement, the level of road/truck damage and its factors. The data used is primary data obtained from field surveys where there is damage in the form of holes, grooves and loose grain of the road surface. The primary data was obtained from a direct survey of the average daily traffic volume (LHR) in 2022 with the type of traffic counting survey 7 x 24 hours and survey data of the average vehicle weight estimation for the vehicle groups Sa, 5b, 6a, 6b. Secondary data in the form of LHR 2021 was obtained from the Padang City Transportation Office which was analyzed using the 1993 AASHTO Method with a cumulative analysis of the 10-year ESAL plan (according to the traffic design for flexible pavement). Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Ampang-Bypass road section has decreased the design life in 2027 by 34.60%, the design age at the end of 2027 is 6.5 where the initial plan ends in 2031. The cumulative ESAL value of the plan is 28.200 .795.8744 and the value The cumulative overloading ESAL is 370,087,474.1138. The value of TF (truck factor) in normal conditions is 0.012448033 and in overloading conditions is 1.347942828. From the vehicle weight data, a comparison of MST values was obtained, where the vehicles were grouped Sa, 5b, 6a, and 6b. Each has its own merits and does not comply with the MST clearance. The remaining value of the pavement which ends in 6.5 years in 2031 must be shortened to 3.5 years, which means that the road is not suitable for use in 2027.
