Pengaruh Kadar Air Terhadap Kuat Tekan Mutu Beton Normal
ABSTRACT
Concrete is a combination of aggregate particles that bind to each other into a solid body or part with bonds from cement material. In a previous study conducted by Aulia Kartika Sridewi (September 2020) who investigated the Effect of Adding Additives Fosroc Coloplast and Fosroc SP 337 to the Compressive Strength of Concrete with Variations latest Water Content. However, in the research that the author conducted on this occasion, namely the variation of the same water content without a mixture of additives, the author conducted a study entitled "The Effect of Water Content on the Compressive Strength of Normal Concrete Quality".
The Water Cement Factor is the ratio between the amount of water used in the cement binding process and the amount of cement used without taking into account the amount of water absorbed by the aggregate. The purpose of the study was to determine the value of the compressive strength of concrete with a moisture content of 0.4, 05 and 0.6.
The test object used was in the form of a cube with a size of 150mm x 150mm x 150mm, which were tested at the age of 7, 14, and 28 days as many as 27 samples and consisted of 3 variations of water content, each variation of 9 samples.
The results of testing the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 7 and 28 days with a moisture content of 0.4 met the specified concrete quality requirements, and at the age of 14 days did not reach the compressive strength value according to the specified concrete quality.
The results of testing the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 7, 14, and 28 days with a water content of 0.5 do not meet the specified concrete quality requirements.
And the results of testing the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 7, 14, and 28 days with a water content of 0.6 also did not meet the specified concrete quality requirements.
So the concrete produced with a water content of 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6, has an unstable concrete compressive strength value, so it has not been able to reach the expected compressive strength value and cannot be used in the field.
