Pengaruh Penggunaan Agregat Kasar dan Halus dari Quarry Siulak Deras dan Quarry Sungai Rumpun di Kabupaten Kerinci Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton Normal
ABSTRACT
In Kerinci Regency, especially around Gunung Tujuh and Siulak Deras areas, people generally use materials from Sungai Rumpun quarry and Siulak Deras quarry. Preliminary test results in the form of an organic matter test showed that the organic matter in the aggregate from the Sungai Rumpun quarry had a high mud content (not meeting SNI), while the aggregate from the Siulak Deras quarry had a low mud content (meets SNI standards). Based on this, this study aims to determine the aggregate characteristics of the Sungai Rumpun quarry and the Siulak Deras quarry and determine the effect of the use of coarse and fine aggregate from the Sungai Rumpun quarry and the Siulak Deras quarry in Kerinci Regency on the compressive strength of concrete. The type of research that will be conducted is experimental at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of the Padang Institute of Technology (ITP). In this study, the physical properties of coarse and fine aggregates were tested, the manufacture of test objects, and testing of compressive strength was carried out. Based on the results of the study by examining the effect of the use of coarse and fine aggregate from the Sungai Rumpun quarry and the Siulak Deras quarry in Kerinci district on the normal compressive strength of concrete, it can be concluded that coarse and fine aggregate from the Sungai Rumpun quarry is not recommended to be used as a concrete mixture. structural (Fe'=20 MPa), because the results of the compressive strength test show that the average compressive strength value does not reach the planned (Fc') plan. Meanwhile, the coarse and fine aggregates from the Siulak Deras quarry reached the planned compressive strength.
