Analisa Kapasitas Drainase di Jalan Raya Bypass Simpang Empat Lubuk Begalung Kota Padang
ABSTRACT
Padang City is one of the cities that has flood problems, especially in the area on the Lubuk Begalung four bypass highway. Based on West Sumatra BPBD flood data on February 15 2018, an indication of the existing problem is the lack of drainage channel capacity. Floods have become a regular in this area, if it rains continuously then the Lubuk Begalung area will be flooded. During high rainfall, the drainage channel often overflows due to not being able to accommodate the discharge that occurs, and eventually causes flooding around the area. This incident occurred around Jalan Raya Lubuk Begalung, Padang City which caused puddles as high as 80 cm to 100 cm. Evaluation of data on the capacity of the drainage channel on Jalan Lubuk Begalung, Padang City, which consists of several stages of analysis, is carried out first. Supporting data is needed that can assist the analysis, such as hydrological data (rainfall) and land physical data such as topographic maps covering water catchment areas. Then the data collection of the dimensions of the drainage channel in the field (Existing). After the data is collected, the next step is data processing. From the calculation of the cross-sectional capacity of the channel under field conditions, it is found that the capacity of the channel is Q = 2.16 m3/second. Meanwhile, the 5-year planned flood discharge is Q = 4.747 m3/second. The cross-sectional capacity of the channel cannot accommodate flood discharge, so from the calculation of Existing Q Q planned flood discharge, the channel cross section is not safe.
